Drop shadow, inner shadow, bevel, color overlay, pattern overlay ... Separate your layer styles on to their own separate layers with a press of a button!!! Now that's what I call a desginers TOOL!!!
Press play and your style effects will now appear on their own layer(s) on top and/or underneath depending upon what style effect you have applied. (drop shadows go underneath and inner shadows, bevels and overlays usually go above). Note: If you apply a bevel effect, it will create multiple separate layers.
This is extremely helpful when you need to have drop shadows on their own layers when creating templates or you want to edit them for a more realist shadow. Because, after making the drop shadow into their own layer you can transform them to get the angle right. YEAH!
Please note that once you have separated your layer styles, you will not longer be able to edit them like you could before they were separated.
A must have for any creative artist!
